Arley Homes has seen a surge in prospective purchasers pass through the show home doors throughout January and February. The leading North West developer has welcomed almost 60 per cent more viewings during the first two months of 2009 than in the same period last year.
Teams at four popular developments – St George’s Park in Mossley, Byron Grove in Bamford, The Courtyard in Hale and Park View in Northern Moor - have continued to report high levels of interest over recent weeks, reflecting the national trend which saw a boost in viewings across the housing market in January. Property listing website Rightmove revealed nationally there had been a four-fold increase in searches throughout the first few weeks of 2009, compared to the same period last year.
John Cosgrave, managing director of Arley Homes, said the figures were encouraging. He said: “We have had a great start to the year and I am delighted to see such a positive turnout right across our current range of developments. “We have some stunning family homes for sale and across all our developments and there is certainly interest from prospective purchasers. Nestled in the heart of the Tame valley, St George’s Park in Mossley comprises a mix of family homes and apartments on the banks of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Of the 30 apartments originally marketed, only four still remain. While sales advisors at the exclusive Byron Grove in Bamford, a gated development of just four luxurious family homes, have only two four-bedroom properties left on the market.
