Official unveiling for Arley Homes’ new Chorley development

Arley Homes has launched the first phase of the eagerly anticipated Duxbury Manor development in Chorley with the unveiling of two stunning showhomes. More than 200 visitors passed through the doors of the five-bedroom Westminster and Newbury showhouses over the weekend at the development on Myles Standish Way, just off the A6 near Duxbury Park.

With eight off-plan sales and reservations, almost half of the first phase is already taken. Substantial interest has come from families from across Lancashire, including Preston, Bolton, the Fylde Coast, Wigan and Chorley itself.

A high turnout had been expected after more than 300 people pre-registered for a brochure, and the welcome team was not disappointed. Duxbury Manor sales adviser, Helen Britton, said: “From the moment the doors opened we had a steady stream of visitors looking round the two showhomes. We had great feedback on the quality of the properties and the lovely landscaping of the development as a whole. There is also a lot of interest in properties which are still under construction so it’s great that we are able to show prospective buyers what they can expect.

“There has been such a great deal of anticipation for this launch, with visitors to our other Chorley developments asking about Duxbury Manor long before the first homes were even built. Everyone can see this is going to be a great place to live and bring up a family.
